Para ser um Escoteiro, precisa:
- Ter 7 anos de idade ou mais;
- Os pais ou responsáveis de menores, deverão comparecer com a criança ou jovem, para autorizar a participação do mesmo;
- Ter espírito de aventura;
- Querer a aprender trabalhar em equipe;
- Querer viver junto a natureza;
- Querer aprender a respeitar e ajudar o próximo;
- Querer aprender a compartilhar.
Entre outros, mas nada como vivenciar para saber como é legal participar dessa fraternidade mundial, onde todos seguem a promessa escoteira e suas Leis.

To be a Scout will need:
- Having 7 years of age or older;
- Parents or guardians of minors must attend with the child or young person, to allow the participation of the same;
- Have a sense of adventure;
- Want to learn to work in teams;
- Want to live close to nature;
- Want to learn to respect and help others;
- Want to learn to share.
Among others, but nothing like experience to learn how to join this fraternity is legal world, where everyone follows the Girl Scout Promise and its laws.
